Some of you may already know me as rocketdave. I've set up this newer page for the art that I deem to be either too kinky, too risqué or just too embarrassing to post under the rocketdave handle. Over the past couple days, I've received two more notices about pics of mine being deleted. What I find confusing about this is that I remembered already removing those particular images from my gallery. Okay, I hadn't deleted them, but they were in storage where nobody else could see them... or so I thought. I didn't want to lose the positive comments on my art and I figured that getting the images in question out of sight would be good enough. But I guess mods can apparently root around in people's storage to find stuff they don't like? I wish someone could clarify this for me, but given the unsatisfactorily impersonal interactions I've had with dA support thus far, I have little hope of receiving a straight answer.

I'm still here and still lost

I've already made a couple posts about my recent troubles with deviantART... and here's another one, despite there not being any new developments or headaches... but I also wanted to veer off and talk about a few tangentially related things that have been on my mind. Being somewhat out of the loop, I have to confess I had no idea that there has been an increased rash in reporting and banning on this site until it threatened to affect me. I guess I'm luckier than some in managing to avoid the banhammer... at least for the time being. I can admit that there were a few drawings in my gallery that, while being relatively tame compared to certain other stuff I've seen on this site, nevertheless were still probably technically in violation of dA's guidelines. So, to be fair, maybe I can't pretend that my brief suspension was 100% a surprise, though that doesn't mean that I don't believe that a much better course of action would have been to simply tell me which image/s the mods thought I
