Commission for 
. I was granted quite a bit of freedom on this project. All that was requested was a before and after pic of their character; the specifics were left up to me.
My search for inspiration for this piece led me to revisit some painful memories from my own school days. The scene on the left is drawn from real life experience. The scene on the right, not so much. Well, girls did stare longingly at me a couple times, but I'm fairly certain they were just messing with my head. Adolescence was no picnic.

Is it just me or the mc here reminds me of peter parker? glasses, nerdy, unpopular getting bullied ( same scene happens where jerks throw food at peter in cafe in ultimate spiderman issue).
