Magical transformation is certainly something different for you, but it can be fun, and I agree with Daphne, I like the art style, especially the cat ladies hat and the leads look. He's clearly boyish and even has kinda  rough and tumble look with his clothes and messy hair, but his slim body, fairly long blond hair and cute face make him look like a natural victim for feminization. I love your art.

Hmm ... I'm notnormally big on magical gender transformations, but this looks very interesting.  Clap  Plus, it's a great exhibition of your style.  I adore your little blond hero/victim!  He's already cute, which makes him a perfect target for some feminine skullduggery.  Wink/Razz   I can't wait to see what comes next!  :squee:

When I originally conceived of this comic, it didn't involve any magic and was only three panels in length, total.  Ultimately, however, I decided that what I had in mind didn't make much sense unless I expanded it and resorted to the supernatural.  I suppose I might have been able to find a non-magical/quasi-believable way to get the character where I wanted him to end up, but that probably would have required a much longer comic.

That makes perfect sense to me.  The key thing, of course, is telling a compelling, interesting and engaging story... and I think you're on to that.  My own peculiar -- and I do mean "peculiar" :giggle: -- obsessions are no medical/surgical/magical/chemical transformations; I prefer my heroes/victims to remain boys both physically and mentally and even look a bit like a boy as he falls into his crossdressing misadventures.  But that is just me.  I can fully appreciate other genres and sub-genres, as long as they're done well.  And this, my friend, looks top rate!  :woohoo:

Ha ha, thanks for the comment. :)  As I've stated multiple times, I'm in awe of your output.  I hate to say it, but any future I might have as a cartoonist may be seriously called into question, given that I started sketching this 2 page comic in January and I only motivated myself to finish it relatively recently.  At that pace, it would take a few centuries to match your ouvre.  I really wanted to do this like a "proper" comic, so I drew everything on 11" by 14" paper.  I have ideas for longer comics- there's one in particular that I envision as a potential ongoing series- but if I have any hope of making that a reality, I may stick to smaller paper and draw it in a more stylized, less realistic fashion.

Great comic, Dave.  I especially like how well you drew her crossed legs underneath the table in panel 3.  You consistency with characters is awesome as is your signature style. The final panel is fun too!  I have heard about how many female hormones are in the contains we buy milk in.  I guess this is true.  Unless, the cat lady really is a ...witch.

Thanks!  You're the second to assume that the milk is to blame, but I'm not so sure.  I suppose it's a little ambiguous which is fine.  The crossed legs were sort of a late addition after I spotted a stock image of a model sitting with her feet propped up like that.  I'm not so certain if you'd agree that the character designs are as consistent in the second page, but that's partly forgivable due to the transformation the kid undergoes.  Actually, I had to entirely redraw the penultimate panel in this page because I thought both characters got too off-model.

I can see I am not the only doodler that sometimes agonizes at what she puts out there.  I know I am my own worst critic.  I look forward to Cat Lady #2 knowing a bit of your process that went into it.
This is fun chatting about this kinda stuff, Dave.
